Rockright is an Indian-American rap artist based in Brooklyn. Born and raised in New York state, he started writing and producing hip-hop at age 10 to channel the music of his active mind. After years of working with his younger brother and producer Lord RAJA in their parents’ basement, he soon began selling burned CDs of their music out of the trunk of his car and performing live shows in college. In 2010, he opened for Kid Cudi at House of Blues Boston.

After a long hiatus, he debuts with Dark Matter on Halloween 2024. The 5-song EP reflects his mindset against the backdrop of our brave new world. Lyrically, it touches on themes of disillusionment, alienation, inequality, conspiracy, mistrust and outsiderdom. Sonically, it features elements of horror, sci-fi and drama. With Lord RAJA on all beats, it’s also the first time the brothers are releasing a complete project together — a childhood promise now fulfilled.
